Prisoner's Dilemma: Sara & Lisa Share £50,000
27 August 2008 - 22:27
It could be the most costly decision theyll ever make...
Lisa and Sara have been nominated in tonight's shock Nominations Face Off. Shortly after, both housemates were summoned into the Task Room.
Both housemates were sat at a table with two golden blocks with 'Take' and 'Share' written on them. A divide meant they couldn't see what the other was doing.
"The Prisoner's Dilemma Game is as follows," explained Big Brother, "you will each have to decide whether to choose the Take block or the Share block.
"If you both choose the share block, you will both leave £25,000 richer," said Big Brother, "if one housemate shares and the other takes, the housemate who takes will leave the Task Room £50,000 and the other will receive nothing.
"If both housemates choose the Take block," explained Big Brother "both housemates will leave with nothing."
Meanwhile the other housemates were watching on a plasma screen in the Living Area.
"They'll share the money," said Rachel.
"Lisa, don't you dare take it all," said Rex, "this is amazing."
Back in the Task Room it was time for Lisa and Sara to make their choices.
"Big Brother wants you to think very carefully about the choice you are about to make."
"I wanna share," said Sara.
"I wouldn't do anything different," said Lisa. "I've got a heart of gold and you've been my best buddy on this show."
Big Brother then silenced the housemates and asked them to make their decision.
When both Lisa and Sara had made their selection, they were told to pick up their block and show them to each other.
Both nominated housemates had chosen to share the prize money.
"Housemates you both decided to share and therefore you both receive £25,000," said Big Brother.
Lisa gave Sara a piggy back around the Task Room.
"You deserve it kiddo," said Lisa.
"I can't believe it!" said Sara. "I'm in shock!"
The piggy back or the twenty five grand?
